What if my child has health problems / allergies?

If your child has any health problems or concerns such as asthma, allergies, etc., please make sure that he / she has their medication available to them during practices (clearly marked with their names) and that the coaches are aware of your child's health concerns.

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

BAD WEATHER POLICY - Practices and games will occur in all weather conditions, with the exception of lightning and very rare cases of extreme temperatures. The safety of the participants is paramount. The Head SYFA Coaches will be responsible for making an on field determination of weather conditions that will ensure the safety of all the participants. Should bad weather arise during practice or games, the Head Coach will move the participants to the nearest shelter and await the parents for pick up. Parents should be aware of weather conditions and be prepared to pick up their children should bad weather arise.

What happens if my child cannot make a practice?

We are aware that children have other responsibilities, please contact your child's coach whenever your child will be unable to make it to practice.  If your child will be leaving early or arriving late due to religious activities, school events, etc., please make your child's coach aware of this, in advance.
